She was born in Roanoke, VA, to Gene Wood and Annie Myers Wood.
Survivors include her husband, Tim Rose; daughter, Carolynn (Rob) DeLong; grandchildren, Kayla, Lynnlea and Tucker and her beloved dog, Spanky.
A funeral will be held at 11am, Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at Andrews Hampstead Chapel.
The family will receive visitors on hour prior beginning at 10am.
Burial will follow at Sea Lawn Memorial Park.
