Margaret Moore Holt

Margaret Moore Holt, 72, of Wilmington, died Sunday, January 1, 2012, at New Hanover Regional Medical Center. Margaret was born January 5, 1939, in Kannapolis, NC, to the late Walter Moore and Vera Whitaker Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Loy Klutz and Eugene Holt, Sr. and a sister-in-law, Glenda Dunn. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Jack Holt; sons, Dean Holt, Mark Holt and Charles Holt Jennifer; granddaughters, Hannah and Ally Holt; two sisters, Genene Klutz and Julie Stapins Buddy; one brother, Ted Moore Teresa; one sister-in-law, Linda Lanier; one brother-in-law, Earl Dunn; eight nieces; five nephews and a very special dog, ""Mister"". A funeral service will be held at 11am, Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel, 4108 S. College Rd. Wilmington with Dr. Al Watkins officiating. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Tony Klutz, Ray Klutz, Keith Brown, Carl Cliver, Chris Tripp and David Moore. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
