Marie Anderson Hall

Marie Anderson Hall, 76, of Wilmington, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on October 16th, 2015. Marie was born to John Foster and Bertie Lee Anderson of Hope Mills, North Carolina, on January 11th, 1939. Marie is survived by her husband, Bernie O’Neil Hall of 54 and a half years, her youngest son, Robert N. Hall and daughter in law Angela Hall, with three granddaughters, Mary Alexis, Jessica Leigh, and Ashley Marie Hall, her middle son Charles Foster Hall and granddaughter Christina Lauren Hall, and her eldest son, James Edwin Hall. Marie was from a large family with four brothers and 3 sisters.

Marie prided herself in being a professional Legal Secretary, but more than anything she loved being a wife of a veteran, a mother, a grandmother and a true Christian woman. She loved unconditionally and forgave easily. She never met a person that she didn’t like and had a tremendous amount of friends. She was the most caring Christian woman, if you needed anything, she would do everything in her power to help you out, friend or stranger and would lift you in prayer.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2015 from 6pm to 8pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service, located at 3915 Oleander Drive, Wilmington 28403.

Funeral Service will be Monday, October 19th, 2015 also at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Service at 1pm with Rev. Eric Bell officiating and will proceed to Greenlawn Memorial Park located at 1311 Shipyard Blvd. Wilmington 28412.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made out Marie Anderson Hall at Coble Ward-Smith.
