In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son George Melton Jr. and brother Roy Morgan Jr.
She is survived by her husband Gilbert Autry; daughters: Veronica Sigmon and husband Greg, Katrina Hawes and husband Edwin; grandchildren: Claven Melton, Amanda Hawes, Alexander Hawes, Kimberly Walrod
and husband Travis, Michael Sigmon; great grandchildren: Charlie Walrod and Declan Walrod.
A Visitation will be held from 1-2pm on Thursday, August 7, 2025, at Coble Funeral & Cremation Chapel, 1155 Shipyard Boulevard, Wilmington, NC.
The Funeral Service will follow at 2pm in the chapel with Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
