

Nellie was born May 28, 1937 in Columbus Co., NC, daughter of the late Otis A. Coleman and Nellie McCarson Coleman.
Nellie was a life long member of the Delco Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church. She was a devoted Christian who never met a stranger and loved spending time with her family. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.
Including her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Wade B. Jordan; daughter, Darlene Saunders; son, Eddie Jordan; grand daughter, Nessie Fowler and several brothers and sisters.
Nellie is survived by her sisters, Margie Ham and Dorothy Medlin; son, Wade Jordan,Jr. and his wife Mary; daughters, Elaine Fowler and her husband Cleve and Joyce Marlene Robinson and her husband Wayne; son in law, Andrew Saunders; grandsons, Travis Fowler, David Robinson and his wife Amber, Chet Saunders and Jason Jordan; great grandson, Bentley Robinson and many special nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Coble Ward-Smith Funeral Home, 3915 Oleander Drive Wilmington, NC 28403.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00pm Thursday, August 2, 2012 at Delco Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church, 283 Kaiser Rd. Delco, NC 28436 with Pastor Mike Owen and Pastor Patsy Smith officiating. A graveside service will follow at Peterson Cemetery.
The family would like to thank, Dr. Neill Musselwhite and staff, Dr. Ellis Tinsley, Jr., Dr William Sutton, the nurses on the 7th and 10th floor, and all the staff at hospice, her special caregivers, Martha Ayers, Mallie Barefoot, Megan Summers, Dorothy Medlin and Kathy Medlin. The family would especially like to thank Dianne King for many years of dedicated devotion. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lower Cape Fear Hospice.
