She was born in Chandler, OK, on November 1, 1932, the daughter of the late Delbert R. and Mary Irene Siler Orr. Also remembered is a daughter, Pamela Eriksen and a sister, Betty Faye Young, who preceded her in death.
Surviving is her daughter Karen Merkle and husband Gary; two grandchildren, Matthew Merkle and Andrew Merkle; two great-grandchildren, Aubrey Merkle and AJ Correll; a sister, Linda Maher; and many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Friday, September 16, 2022 at Andrews Mortuary Valley Chapel.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
