Mr. Robert Ayers, Sr., age 77 of Rocky Point died Monday, January 7, 2019. He was born September 9, 1941 to Raymond Matthew Ayers and Bessie May Ayers.
He is survived by his wife, Diann Ayers of the home; a son Robert Ayers, Jr. and his wife Julie of Hampstead; two daughters: Karah Hill of Rocky Point and Timaly Ayers of Delco and seven grandchildren; sister Dorothy Gordon and brother Raymond Ayers, both of Roanoke.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30am on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at Castle Hayne Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
