Rosemary DiDonna, (aka, Mom, Auntie RoRo, Rosa) has gone home to our Heavenly Father on March 19, 2026. She fought like a warrior to stay with her beloved family as long as she possibly could. She is no longer in pain, but surrounded by much love, peace and light.
Rosemary was born in Brooklyn, New York to Catherine and Carmine Famiglietti. She grew up in Babylon, later moved to Holbrook, NY and finally retired to coastal North Carolina. She spent much of her final years enjoying the local wildlife and had grown to love the crows in her neighborhood.
She loved her family more than anything. She was a fun-loving person with a big heart, strong will, and a great sense of humor. She brought such laughter and joy to everyone she was with. One of the many joys in her life was spending holidays with family, cooking way too much food, and sending everyone home with leftovers.
Rosemary was an animal lover who most likely ran right to the rainbow bridge to collect her beloved Jazmyn and Gia Rose who had gone before her. She will be greatly missed by her latest love, her Yorkie, Grace.
She is preceded in death by her parents Catherine and Carmine, her sister Joanne Famiglietti, her brother, Charlie Famiglietti, her nephew George Hawrey.
She is survived by her loving husband Raymond DiDonna, her daughter Katy, her son Bob Rizzo and his wife Gina, her son Jason Rizzo and his wife Lara, her sister Maryann Correia, and many nieces and nephews and friends
