She was born March 28, 1934 in Pender County, NC daughter of the late Jediah Sanders and Nellie Coston Sanders.
She was preceded in death by her husband Tommy Smith, a brother John Williams and a sister Mattie Bonner.
Surviving is her son Timmy Smith and wife Adrianne of Hampstead, a special nephew Ronnie Bonner and wife Carla and a host of nieces and nephews.
A Graveside service will be held 2pm Tuesday July 21, 2020 at The Church of Latter Days Saints Cemetery in Hampstead.
