Shirley Garrett Lewis, 76, of Leland, North Carolina, peacefully passed away on April 3, 2025, while surrounded by family. Shirley was born on December 1, 1948, and was one of eight siblings. Shirley was a devoted wife of 58 years to Wilbur “Red” Lewis, whom she is preceded by in death. Shirley was a loving mother to their three children: Danny Lewis, Keith Lewis, and Chris Lewis. Shirley was also a proud Nana of 11 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 at Northside Church, 2501 N College Rd, Wilmington, NC. All who knew and loved Shirley are encouraged to attend.
