Teresa Marie Barnes, 49, of Hampstead, N.C. passed away unexpectedly Monday, April 14 at home. Teresa was born in Raleigh, N.C. on November 5, 1964. Survivors include one son, Baxter "Bucky" Durham, of Charlotte, N.C. and daughter, Catherine "Katy" Durham, of Hampstead N.C. She is also survived by her parents, Jackie "Jack" Barnes and Catherine Barnes, two brothers, Mike Barnes and his wife Annette and Chris Barnes and his wife Angela. She also leaves behind her closest friend and pet, "Snoopy." Teresa was full of life, always smiling and she loved spending time with her two children. She enjoyed helping others and loved talking with her many friends throughout the country and abroad over the internet and Facebook.
