Cynthia Ann Rea

Cynthia Ann Rea December 18, 1948 – October 19, 2016 Cynthia Ann Rea, age 67, of Wilson passed away Wednesday. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, October 23, 2016, at the Albion Church of the Nazarene, 9578 US Rt. 6N, Albion, PA. The Rev. Wayne Hennen will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday afternoon, immediately following the service, at the church. Cindy was a veteran of the United States Army and graduated from SUNY – Binghamton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting. She was a caring and thoughtful aunt, sister, daughter, friend and loving Christian who loved the Lord. She helped many along the way in her travels and touched many hearts. In the words of her niece, Melissa June Rea, “she was a little lady with a lot of spunk.” She will be dearly missed and forever alive in our hearts. Cindy is survived by her mother, Arlys Maxine Green Rea of Girard; four brothers, James Arnold Rea (Linda) of Cranesville, Robert Louis Rea (Sonia) of Rose Hill, NC, Edward Allen Rea (Naomi) of Girard and Darin Lee Rea (Carolyn) of Elm City, NC; one sister, Linda Sue McFadden (Bill) of Conneaut, OH; and several nieces and nephews. The family would also like to mention Cindy’s special relationship with Amy Jane Maney of Johnson City, NY, who Cindy considered her family and loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Louis Rea, Sr.; a niece, Courtney Rea; and a nephew, Micheal Rea. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cynthia’s name may be directed to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society (www.nationalmssociety.org) and the American Heart Association (www.heart.org).
