JESSE L. OVERMAN Jesse L. Overman, 62, of Stantonsburg, passed away on Monday, January 4, 2016. He was the beloved husband of Celesta Beaman. Jesse was born in Wilson County, October 5, 1953, and was preceded in death by his parents, Louis E. and Elma Lee Cox Overman. Besides his wife Celesta, he is survived by his sister, Jennie Spencer and her husband Carroll of Wilson, and nieces and nephew, Alecia Mears and her husband Anthony, Erika Waniorek and her husband Brandon, Pat Edwards, Wanda Hudson, Debbie Rich, and Jerry Register. Visitation will be Thursday from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St., in Wilson. Graveside funeral services will follow in Stantonsburg Cemetery with Pastor Tim Hopkins, Hospice Chaplain, officiating.
