She is survived by her husband Donnie B. Lowe of over 50 years. Her sisters Terry Goff of Florida and Marie Ezzell of South Carolina. She was predeceased by her mother and father, Rosamond Renfrow and Joseph Thomas Cobb, and her sister Violet Cobb Bass.
From the time she began school she discovered a love of reading and of studying. And later on in life, a love of helping those who wanted the same. She excelled all through school including graduating with top honors from Atlantic Christian College.
While attending college she worked part time for Wilson County Health Department and now began a full time position and a twenty two year career.
After rising through the ranks at Wilson County Health Department, She decided to step back from the stress and pressure and traded in her corner office for blue water and sunshine. Turning her hobby into a job, she became a certified Scuba Instructor.
Pam worked a few years as an instructor for Pro Scuba Center but soon her love for teaching was rekindled and she went to work for Wilson County Schools. She taught at several schools in Wilson County, the last being James Hunt High School. After retiring from Hunt High School in 2016, she spent her time researching and building her family tree and traveling with her beloved dog and her husband in her RV.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Thomas - Yelverton Funeral Home, located at 2704 Nash St. N., Wilson, North Carolina, 27896. The gathering will take place on December 13, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
