Rachel Janet Hill, 78, of Lucama passed away Thursday. Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, Wilson, NC, with interment following in Evergreen Memorial Park, Wilson, NC.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., at the funeral home located at 2704 Nash St. N, Wilson, NC.
Surviving are two daughters, Shirley Gallinoto and husband, Clayton, of Conetoe and Rachel Campbell and fiancé, Ted Hardin, of Lillington; one son, Thomas Braswell of Lucama; five grandchildren, Lynette Reynolds, Ashley Cummings, Brent Campbell, R.J. Harrell and Autumn Bryant; twelve great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Rachel Bailey Hill; three sisters, Mary Verna Howell, Joyce Ferrell and Betsy McGuire; two brothers, Rev. Reddin Franklin Hill and James Robert Hill.
