WANDA HINNANT PRIDGEN August 6, 1932 – July 3, 2016 Wanda Hinnant Pridgen, 83, of Louisburg, passed away Sunday. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. Pastor Jerry Nelson and Pastor Ricky Nelms will officiate. The family will receive friends 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Thomas-Yelverton Funeral Home, 2704 Nash St. N, Wilson. Wanda was a longtime loyal member of Westmoreland Pentecostal Holiness Church, where she was very active with the Royal Rangers, the Prime Timers, and Women’s Ministries. She was an avid Duke fan. Wanda loved her Lord and lived life to the fullest. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Surviving are her daughter, Kay Alford (Bobby) of Salemburg; three sons, Jerry Pridgen (Tricia), Clayton Pridgen, and Ronnie Pridgen (Patricia), all of Wilson; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse Pridgen; parents, George and Mary Hawley Hinnant; one sister; two brothers. Flowers are welcome and memorials may be directed in Wanda’s memory to Westmoreland PH Church, 3102 Tilghman Rd. N, Wilson, NC 27896.
