Barbara G Garland, age 88 of Auburn, GA, passed away on November 26, 2025. Barbara was born in Macon, GA to the late Dillard A. Gilleland and Margie Nell Reeves McDonald. She was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. She loved painting and drawing, fishing, and cutting the grass.
In addition to her parents, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, C.F. Garland, Sr. She is survived by her son, Clay (Pam) Garland; brother, Larry (Cheryl) Sims; sister, Donnie Ritch; grandson, Clay Garland, III; great-grandchildren: Stone and Stella Garland; and many nieces and nephews.
A Visitation will be held on Friday, November 28, 2025, from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, Winder. The Funeral Service will be on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at 10:30 am in Smith Memory Chapel. She will be buried at Southview Cemetery in Thomaston, GA.
