Boua Xiong, of Winder, GA passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024. He was born in Laos and lived in Oroville, CA before coming to Winder. He was of the Christian faith. Boua retired as a welder. What he enjoyed most was gardening, hunting, and being outdoors.
He is survived by his children: Kang Xiong of Oroville, CA, Sheng Xiong of Fresno, CA, Phuab Xiong of Tulsa, OK, Sai Xiong of Oroville, CA, and Aib Xiong of Oroville, CA; one brother; and twenty-one grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Boua Xiong will be held Saturday, November 23, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, Georgia 30680. The service will be officiated by Pastor Vam Fub Hawj. His burial will follow at Hoschton City Cemetery.
