Gary J. Davis age 59 of Monroe passed away Wednesday, July 30, 2014. He was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his father, John Roy Davis. He is survived by his mother, Nettie Ford Davis; a brother, Barry Davis (Donna) of Dacula; two sisters, Shirley Rushin (James) of Jacksonville, FL and Patricia Coleman (John) of Monroe; several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews also survive. Graveside services were held Friday, August 01, 2014 at Barrow Memorial Gardens with Ms. Brooke DeVere officiating. The family received friends from 12 until 2PM before the service at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA.
