Helen Robertson

Helen Laverne Robertson, 80, passed away, Sunday, August 25, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Grady and Nellie Criswell Knight. Helen was a member of the Dacula Church of God. She loved to garden and plant flowers, but most of all loved spending time with her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Charles Robertson; a son, Jimmy Robertson; two brothers: Melvin Knight and Grady Lee Knight; sister, Shirley Lance; two grandchildren: Amanda Burel and Megan Sudduth; and great-grandchild, Joshua Peppers.

Survivors are: two daughters, Barbara (Chuck) Maxey of Statham and Penny (Harold) Wright of Hoschton; son, Tommy Robertson of Bethlehem; grandchildren: Matt Burel, Jimmy Sudduth, Brandi Phillips, Elizabeth Robertson, Savannah Robertson, Conner Robertson and Matthew Maxey; great-grandchildren: Caleb, Jasmine, Jayden, Wrezyn, Hunter, Alexa, Casey, Allison and Maddie.

A visitation for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from noon until 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy, SE, Winder. A Celebration of Helen’s Life will be 2:00 pm on Wednesday, August 28, 2024 in Smith Memory Chapel with Pastor Martha Baker officiating. The burial will follow at Ewing Chapel Church Cemetery, 1777 Ewing Chapel Rd, Dacula, GA 30019.
