James Terry Crowe

James Terry Crowe, age 67, of Winder, GA passed away on Monday, November 27, 2023. Terry was born in Athens to the late James Eli Crowe and Agnes Thelma Reynolds Crowe. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Joy Goldman and his son Damon Wilson.

Terry was a Heavy Equipment Operator and the Owner/Operator of Terry's Construction Company. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting. After retirement, he was a fishing guide in Cross SC. He owned Crowe's Guide Service and helped many fishermen find great catches in Santee Cooper. Terry was a wonderful and amazing Husband and Father. He was also a loving and loyal brother and friend to many people throughout his life.

Terry is survived by his wife, Sara Ann Jones Crowe; children: John Wilson of Nicholson, Townley and (wife) Stacey Wilson of Rayle, Lisa Lyles and (partner) Rainer, April and (husband) Mickey Holt of Winder; six grandchildren: Hannah Wilson, Nicholas Wilson, Justin Wilson, Donavan and (wife) Amber Lyles, Marcus Lyles, and Miranda Lyles; one great grandchild Hayden Lyles; Sister: Jean Crowe Bentley (Davis); and several nieces and nephews.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, December 3, 2023 from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 pm following the visitation in Smith Memory Chapel. Officiated by Rev. Johnny Wright.
