She was preceded in death by her mother Lillian Tippet McNeeley. Janet is survived by her loving husband of 32 years, Steven Burton of Winder, Georgia; her sons John Jones of Winder and DJ Jones of Tallahassee; her father, Donald C. McNeeley, Sr. of Lake Placid, FL; a brother, Don McNeeley, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Virginia Beach, VA; Sisters, Judy Brim and her husband Bill of Ft. White, Florida and Debi Diender and her husband Michael of Stowe, VT, and her best friend Sue Otteson of Lake Placid, FL, who is also a special family friend.
Janet was a talented artist and crafter who loved painting and making jewelry. She retired at 63 from Majors Management in Lawrence, GA as an Administrative Assistant.
