Joseph Randolph Durden

Joseph Randolph Durden, age 72 of Stone Mountain, passed away on Friday, May 27, 2023 in Snellville, GA. Randy was born on August 14, 1950 in Davy, FL to the late Jim Durden and Virginia Voss Durden. He was a barber and with his wife Marisa owned J. Randolph’s Executive Hair in Atlanta for 30 years. Randy was a member of Harmony Grove United Methodist Church. Randy had a passion for reading and an appreciation for aesthetics. He enjoyed making old things look new. He played the accordion and piano. He also had a green thumb and savored nights grilling out with family and friends. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed .

In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by a son, David Durden.

Randy is survived by his loving wife Marisa Lyle Durden, his son John Durden of Stone Mountain, GA; his daughter Gabrielle Durden-Coffee (Chris) of Gainesville, GA; his brother Ray Durden of Live Oak, FL; his sister Barbara Ann Radford (Dan) of Fountain, FL and two grandchildren Cadence and Lydia Coffee.

Services will be held Saturday June 3 at 1 pm at Lyle Hill Farm in Auburn, Georgia
