Joshua Lee Steed

Joshua lovingly known by his family and friends as "Bubba," "Swan," and ""Red Beard" will be best remembered as a devoted husband, father, son, brother, and uncle. Joshua loved riding his motorcycle with his friends.

Joshua is preceded in death by his step-mother, Monica Steed.

Joshua is survived by his loving wife, Jamie Steed of Winder; son, John Lucas Steed of Winder; father, Bobby Steed of Winder; mother, Melanie House (Jim) Bays of Bethlehem; brothers, Austin (Julianne) Steed of Bethlehem, and Zachary Bays of Knoxville; mother-in-law, Jan Cash; niece and nephew, Alora and Jace Steed; and a host of extended friends and family.

A service to celebrate and honor the life of Mr. Joshua Lee Steed will be held Sunday, January 31, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at New Pentecost United Methodist Church with Rev. Mike Peevy officiating. The family will be receiving friends at a reception following the service in the fellowship hall at the church.

In lieu of flowers, the family has respectfully requested donations be made to a fund for Josh's son, John, to help in the years to come. The bank account information is Routing Number: 061113415 under the care of BB&T bank.
