Mrs. Jurell Thurmond Dunagan, 94 of Statham passed away September 24,2011. Born September 15,1917 to the late H C and Lithonia Mobley Thurmond. She was also preceded in death by husband, Coleman Dunagan and son Jack Dunagan, brothers Lawrence Thurmond, Charles Thurmond and Julius Thurmond.
She is survived by grandchildren Elaine Wright and Jack and Karen Dunagan;great grandchildren, Travis Wright, Cole Dunagan, Ellen Dunagan and Mathew Dunagan; sister Betty Brooks; daughter in law Becky Dunagan;sister in law Dot Thurmond and many nieces , nephews and other friends.
Funeral Services will be Monday Sept. 26, 2011 at 2:00 pm. at Smith Memory Chapel with interment at Mt. Tabor Baptist Church Cemetery.
Arrangements under the direction of Smith Memory Chapel, Winder, GA.
