Larry was a veteran of the US Navy and retired as a buyer for Sysco Foods. He was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley Columbus and Nellie Adams Born and a step-daughter, Ivy Willoughby.
Larry is survived by his wife, Deborah Born of Watkinsville; two sons, David Lewis Born (Robyn) of Mineral Bluff and Christopher Paul Born (Paige) of Auburn; a sister, Helen Day of Braselton, five grandchildren and one great grandchild.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 3, 2019 from 2 till 4PM at Smith Funeral Home, Winder, GA. He will be interred in the Willoughby Cemetery, Watkinsville, GA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary’s Hospice House or a charity of your choice.
Smith Funeral Home, Winder, has charge of the arrangements.
