Linda Cronic Ralston, age 78, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, with her loving daughters by her side, walking into the arms of Jesus. She was born on May 3, 1947, in Walton County, Georgia, to the late Buddy and Evelyn Cronic. She was also preceded in death by her husband, James; and her brothers, Danny and Steve.
She is survived by her daughters, Cindy (Steve) Marlatt and Penny (Don) Trammell; her granddaughter, Brandi (Richard) Bradberry; and her cherished grandchildren: Nicholi, Kylan, Bennett, Baker, Bryson, Ethan, June, and J.T.
Linda found her greatest joy in the simple blessings of life - being outdoors, camping under the stars, tending to her garden, and taking pride in making her yard beautiful each year. She loved fishing with her grandsons, strolling along the beach in search of seashells, and cheering on her grandchildren at their baseball games. Some of her most treasured moments were spent rocking her youngest grandchild to sleep and creating lasting memories with her daughters on their annual mother-daughter trips, a tradition she held close to her heart.
Family meant everything to her, and her love was the steady foundation that held them all together. She will be remembered for her strength, her nurturing spirit, and the deep, unwavering love she gave so freely.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Crossroads Church of Jackson County in Jefferson, Georgia, at a later date.
Linda had a generous heart and a desire to help others, wishing to donate her organs and her body to science. While those wishes could not be fulfilled due to her recent diagnosis of acute myeloid leukemia, her giving spirit lives on. To honor her memory, the family welcomes donations to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society or the Leukemia Research Foundation.
Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing she is at peace, embraced by her Savior.
“Well done, good and faithful servant… Enter into the joy of your Lord.” — Matthew 25:23
