Nettie Clair Hammond, age 97 of Winder, passed away Saturday, May 2, 2020. She was a native of Marion Co. and a membered White Oak Baptist Church in Lilburn. Nettie was preceded in death by her parents, William Prather and Nettie Lee Smith Henderson; her husband Guy C. Hammond Sr. and a brother, William Prather Henderson Jr. She is survived by a daughter, Marilee Giles (Paul) of Statham; a son, Guy C. Hammond of Statham; a sister, Sylvia Waller (Bob) of Lexington, KY; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. A private family service will be held at a later date.
