Patricia Ann Edwards, age 81, of Bethlehem, Georgia passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Patricia was retired from the State of Georgia, NEGA Health District in Athens, as an account tech in the Department of Human Resources. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Bethlehem. She loved square dancing with the Classic City Squares. Patricia enjoyed RVing, she was an avid reader, poet and pianist, and played the piano for Buckhead United Methodist Church when she lived at Lake Oconee. She loved her pets and had a soft place in her heart for rescue animals.
Patricia was preceded in death by her parents George C. and Mary Emma Mallard Voyles, her husband Donie Edwards, and her ten siblings. She is survived by her son Keith (Phyllis) Edwards of Royston; daughter Sharon (Jeff) McConnell of Marietta; five grandchildren: Emily Dantzler, Jenny Tolley, Sara Rogers, Breece McConnell and Brandon McConnell; and two great-grandchildren: Emma Rogers and Harrison McConnell.
