Richard Addison Skinner

Richard Addison Skinner, age 80, of Winder, GA passed away on Thursday, February 22, 2024. Richard was born in Sumter, SC to the late Collier and Corene Skinner. He dedicated his life as a Georgia State Trooper until his retirement. Richard was a Master Mason.

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by his loving wife Brenda Skinner; brother and sister in law Leon (Gaynell) Skinner; sister and brother in law Juanita (Virgil) Jenkins; and granddaughter, Stephanie Doster.

Richard is survived by his children: Robin Skinner of Statham, GA, and Pamela Skinner of Winder, GA, Stephen (Michelle) Skinner of Athens, GA; grandchildren: Christopher Skinner of Winder, GA, Amanda Doster of Winder, GA, Elizabeth Skinner of Athens, GA, and Luke Skinner of Athens, GA; and great grandchildren: Elijah Doster of Winder, GA, Presley Skinner of Winder, GA, and Lovely Skinner of Winder, GA.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, February 25, 2024 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Smith Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 at 2:00 PM in Smith Memory Chapel. The burial will follow at Barrow Memorial Gardens.
