Irene “Daisy” Day, age 87, of Winder, passed away Monday, October 13, 2014. She was a member of Chapel Christian Church. She was a Lab Technician for Northeast.Georgia Medical Center for 35 Years and St. Mary’s Hospital for 11 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cliff and Montine Deaton Day. She is survived by two brothers, Jack Day and Lewis Day both of Winder; and three sisters, Helen Baxter, Ruby Nell Helton, and Carol Greeson, all of Winder. Several nieces and nephews also survive. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8PM, Wednesday, October 15, 2014. Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM, Thursday, October 16, 2014, in the Smith Memory Chapel, with Rev. Jim Stephens officiating. Interment will be in the Chapel Christian Church Cemetery.
