Shirley Marie Kennedy

Shirley Marie Kennedy, age 83 of Winder, GA, passed away on February 26, 2026. Shirley was born in Bethlehem, GA. to the late Jack and Mary Kennedy. Shirley was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was always happy and loved to "clown around". She loved dancing and singing and she especially loved helping raise children.

In addition to her parents, Shirley was predeceased by her brothers: Bill Kennedy, John Kennedy, Randolph Kennedy, Gene Kennedy, Bobby Kennedy, and Danny Kennedy; and her sister, Joyce House. She is survived by her brother, Stanley (Susan) Kennedy; sisters: Patricia Reynolds and Frances Thomas; sisters-in-law: Mary Ann Kennedy, Carolyn Kennedy, Inez Kennedy, and Brenda Kennedy; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Visitation for family and friends will be held at Smith Funeral Home, 755 Atlanta Hwy SE, Winder, GA, on February 27, 2026, from 6:00 pm The Funeral Service will be in Smith Memory Chapel at 11:00 am on February 28, 2026, officiated by Pastor Heath Kennedy. Her Burial will be at Barrow Memorial Gardens, 793 Atlanta Highway SE, Winder, GA.
