Steven Scott Champion age 63 of Winder, passed away September 29, 2021. He was a native of Walden, NY. Steve worked as a Technical Engineer and Plant Manager for Novolex. He spent his career in the paper bag business and had a passion for improving machines and working with friends. He was a huge Miami Dolphins fan and enjoyed boating. Most of all, he loved spending time with family and was so proud of his entire family.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Leon Champion, and his brother, Terry Champion. He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Champion of Middletown, NY; a son, Steve Champion (Heather) of Monroe, NC; his mother, Martha Lewis Champion of Canastota, NY; a brother, John Champion of Chattanooga, NY; two sisters, Sally Hoek of Antwerp, NY and Sue Carroll of Camden, NY; and two grandchildren, Isaac and Harper Champion.
