88 years. Passed away peacefully at Windsor Regional Hospital, Met Campus on Thursday, December 10, 2009. Beloved husband of the late Edna (nee Hutchinson)(1998). Dear father of Fran Solcz & her husband Alex Boudreau, Peter Mason & his wife Mary, all of Windsor. Loving grandpa of Jamie, Ryan, Kyrsten, Tasha and great grandfather of Seth. Earl will also be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Earl served with the Canadian Army British Intelligence Unit during WWII, volunteering to fight at Normandy. Earl owned & operated Mason Custom Brokerage in Windsor from 1956 until his retirement in 1980. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue, (519)254-3223 on Sunday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Monday, December 14, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Victoria Memorial Gardens. If desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian National Institute for the Blind would be appreciated by the family.
