We will remember Frank as a loyal member of Trinity United Church in Elliot Lake On. Many great talks of his flying days. We will miss you Frank. Susan & Dean Reile.

Frank has been my friend here in Elliot Lake, during the summer months, for about 10 years. We enjoyed community meals, at noon, two days a week. We also shared Holy Trinity United Church events.
His house was a few doors from my apartment bldg. He also had an apartment in the building.
I will certainly miss Frank.
I also want to thank Nancy for the prompt phone call about Frank's passing. I was out of the city for a few weeks.

I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Frank at Bible Study at the Westgate recently. 
Loved that his passions were still intact, and that he lived life to the fullest. 
He is flying with angels now!

Sad but now he;'s flying higher than ever.

Frank was the most diversified, experienced and accomplished Veteran we have interviewed for his military experiences. 
His kindness and famous smile were highlights of the past several November 11th Veterans Appreciation Day celebrations.
He will be truly missed by many, many friends and Veterans.

Rest in Peace Good Friend.

My husband and I were visiting my Mom(Paulette) and Dad(Louis) in Markstay.  Aunt Irene and Uncle Frank stopped in with their Winnabago coming back from the Alaskan Highway.  They had some fantastic trips. What a life Uncle Frank has had.

Thank-you so much for sharing all the wonderful photos of Uncle Frank during his lifetime.  Lucy and I enjoyed much reviewing and reflecting on the great things one can do in a lifetime.  I liked Uncle Franks voice, it was distinct.  Condolences to Nancy and Family.

I worked with Frank at the Transmission Plant in the 60,s and 70,s when he was a Maintenance Supervisor. I always respected Frank for his quiet leadership and friendly manner. He was always calm and in control. He enjoyed a long and successful military and civilian careers.

When I was a little girl, every Christmas, Uncle Frank would bring a box full of Chips, cookies, nuts, and treats of all kinds.  I remember getting up on the chair at the kitchen table where he would place the box, and I would spend time excitedly looking through all of the things my  mom didn't necessarily buy, as she had six kids and treats where not a high priority.  He would laugh and say it was just a little something, and mom would look at him and say thank you Frankie as she hug and kissed him on the cheek.  She knew, to him it might not of meant much, but too her kids it was something they would remember forever.

Frank was a long time "Bedford" friend of mine and will be sorely missed. My sympathy goes out to his family who I am sure will feel a vacuum in their family.

 June started out being a normal Summer month until I lost my dear Uncle Frank.. It saddens me to have to say goodbye even though he lived a full life, enjoying every minute with such joy and generosity.. Being a very intelligent man, pilot and confidant; I had learned a lot from him. His writings will go down in History and I will treasure every moment I got to share with him. Love and Miss you Uncle Frank..

Uncle Frank sure enjoyed sharing time at our pot-luck suppers with his nieces and nephews, and sharing some of his life experiences.  And he talked about the things he still wanted to do.  Glad I had time to spend with him in the last few years.  We will miss him.

On behalf of myself and the Members of The Royal Canadian Naval Association, we send our condolences to Frank's family. Frank was a highly respected member of our Association. He will be missed.

Dad set the bar high for the rest of us with his curiosity, creativity and productivity. He got 36 hours out of every day.  Although he loved his 'alone' time to tinker on his  many, many projects, he thrived also as a member of his varied organizations and groups.  Dad didn't seem content unless he felt that he had done it all.  He still had more projects to do when he passed.  Wishing peace for him now.

Frank was a very active and independent man.  He enjoyed living life to the fullest, find and overcoming challenges along the way.  Rest well, Frank.
