Gerald Francis Bruner, age 89, passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2022 at the Hospice Residential Home Windsor. Beloved husband of the late Bernadette (nee Renaud) (2019) of which he shared 63 years of marriage. Dear father of the late Jerry (2003) & his wife Patti, Ken & wife Maureen, Colleen & husband Peter, Sharon & husband Bill, and Diane & husband Derek. Loving Pipi of 13 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren with 2 more on the way. Dear brother of Ann Crook of WIndsor. Will also be missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his siblings Helen, Dorothy and Betty. Gerald enjoyed stock car racing, playing lawn darts and horseshoes and backyard bonfires with the Rankin Avenue gang. He was very devoted to his wife and family throughout his life. In keeping with Gerald's wishes, cremation will take place. If desired, memorial donations made to the Hospice of Windsor & Essex County would be appreciated by the family.
