It is with heavy hearts we announce the unexpected and sudden passing of Gord, August 10 2015 at the age of 88 years. Beloved husband of Vida of 67 years. Beloved father to Jim (Mary) of Tecumseh, Robert (Ceselly) of Michigan, Ron (Betty Lou) of Lasalle. Cherished grandfather to Madison, Bradley, Chase, Gia, Carson, Amanda, Paula, Amy, Melissa. Dear great-grandfather of 8 great-grandchildren. Survived by brother George (Jean) of Manitoba, sister-in-law Norma (Fred). Predeceased by sisters Evelyn, Lil, Margaret of Manitoba. Gordon was a war vet in the Second World War as a paratrooper. Gordon moved to Windsor from Manitoba in 1948. He started the family business, Windsor Upholstery & Auto Trim, in 1961. He was a devoted member of the Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (519-252-5711). In kindness, memorial donations may be made to the Gethsemane Lutheran Church. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will take place Friday August 14th, 2015 at 11am at Gethsemane Lutheran Church, service by Pastor Robert Voelker.
