Helen Barbara Dinsmore

Passed away peacefully in her 99th year. Barbara was predeceased by her husband James E Dinsmore on Jan 25, 2013. Also predeceased by sister Janet McPherson and brother Karl Odenburg. Barbara was mother to Gregory of Toronto, Jeffery and Denise Dinsmore, Beverly Hills MI, Janet (deceased November 24, 2025) and John Roberts of Toronto, Anne Cole of Windsor. Grandmother to Katherine Dinsmore (Mark Schellenger) of Austin TX, Allison (Bryan) Pyc of Royal Oak MI, Cameron (Gabrielle De Billy Brown) Roberts of Gatineau PQ and Ian Roberts (Jayne Ingram) of Toronto ON, and Justine Cole of Windsor ON. Great grandmother to Bennett, Emerson, Sloan, Elin and Sophie. Barbara was born and raised in Windsor ON, and professionally was a graduate nurse of Grace Hospital Windsor. Barbara also was “First Mate” to James Dinsmore on the sailing vessel Odyssey. Together with friends and family, they cruised the beautiful waters in the North Channel of Georgian Bay. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Barbara’s name to the Palliative Care unit at Windsor Hotel Dieu Grace Campus or the Canadian Cancer Society.
