Passed away peacefully on April 20, 2015 at the age of 89. He will be missed by his loving wife Irene, dear son Dale(Roxann), and cherished granddaughter Autumn. Predeceased by his parents Edward and Sadie Benoot and siblings Mary Blanchette and John Benoot. Survived by his loving sisters Rose McLean and Muriel Benoot. Retired from General Motors transmission plant after 32 years of service. A private family service has taken place as per Joe’s request. In Joe’s memory donations may be made to the Hospice of Windsor and Essex County.
