It is with immense sadness and grief but limitless pride in her that the family announces the passing of Kaye, an extraordinary Mother, Grandmother, Aunt and friend in her 87th year. She ascended peacefully to God at 1:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2014 with family by her side after a short, difficult and courageous encounter with cancer which she bore with her typical grace and dignity. Kaye leaves her children Judy, Bill (Ron), Maureen and her "forever little girl" Kathleen, the grandchildren she doted upon: Justin (MaryLyn), Marcus and Kyle will be in her heart through eternity. As well she loved dearly her sister Vivienne Murray-Miller (Frank) and special sister-in-law and friend Evelyn Flynn. Her nieces and nephews and their children she loved like her own. Kaye was predeceased by her father Nicholas, adored mother Mabel, sisters Iris and Meta, brothers Clifford James, Gordon and Robert and beloved sisters and brothers in law. The family will receive visitors at Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue (519-254-3223) on Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with Parish Prayers at 7:00 p.m. Kaye will then rest at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, 1991 Norman Rd. on Saturday, July 19, 2014 from 11:00 a.m. to the time of Mass of Resurrection at 11:30 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment of ashes will take place at St Alphonsus Cemetery on Monday, July 21st at 10:00 a.m. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests anyone wishing and who are able to express their love through a donation to Community Living York South, Bright Ideas Programme, 101 Edward Avenue, Richmond Hill, Ontario L4C 5E5.
