

HILLS – Leslie Gordon, 90 years. Born in London, England on February 15, 1921 and passed away peacefully at Hospice of Windsor on September 9, 2011. Beloved husband of the Late Dorothy (nee Goodwyn)(2006). Loving father to Brenda Linton (Hollister) (Toronto) and Jennifer Brown (David) (Kingston). Dearest grandpa of six and great-grandpa of two. Dear brother to Norman and Stan (Joyce). Predeceased by his parents George and Louisa and by his brother F.O. Raymond (1944). Mr. Hills is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his life-long friend Lillian Parker and family. He served with the R.C.A.F., 1940-1945 in Canada and overseas. He was a member of Royal Canadian Legion Br. #201 Essex. He was active in all sports and was the program Director of The Windsor Swimming Club for many years. He was retired from The Windsor Utilities Commission and was a member of I.B.E.W. He also worked for Silverwood Dairies for many years. Friends may call at the Walter D. Kelly Funeral Home, 1969 Wyandotte St. E., on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A Windsor Veterans Service will be held in the chapel on Sunday @ 7:30 p.m. The celebration of his life will be held in the Chapel on Monday September 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Canon Dr. Donald Hull officiating. Interment to follow at Victoria Memorial Gardens . In Lieu of flowers, donations to the Hospice of Windsor would be appreciated. Special thanks to Rev.
