Leta Leona Bennewies

(nee Rolfe) (Lamb) 85, of Windsor, was born Feb 19th, 1930 in South Hampton NS. She went home to be with the Lord peacefully on June 24, 2015 with family at her bedside. She gave her heart to the Lord Nov. 16, 2008 at Heritage Park Alliance Church. She loved music, ballroom dancing, singing in Church choir, teaching Sunday School and playing guitar for the youth group. As a volunteer for 25 years, she played piano at Versa Care/Berkshire. She was predeceased by her parents George and Margaret (Savoy) Rolfe, sisters Margaret Fluter and Mae Girouard, brothers Emerson, George, Murray and James Rolfe. Lovingly missed by her 3 children Wanda Bennewies and her father Glenn Bennewies, Marilyn Lamb Cormier, Larry Lamb and their father Percy Lamb; 5 grandchildren Michael Bellmore (Lee Watson), Andrea Docherty (Lindsay), Monica Seaman, Terrance Cormier (Angela) and Cerry Lamb. 11 great grandchildren Quinn, Norah, Alistair, Keira, Michaela, Marshall, Sebastian, Madeline, Olivia, Dillon and Andrew as well as several nieces, nephews and many friends. Leta was always a mom to many!!! Cremation arrangements entrusted to Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre. (519-252-5711). A celebration of Leta’s life will take place at Heritage Park Alliance Church (2501 Sixth Concession, Windsor ON) on Saturday, June 27th, 2015 at 3:00pm with visitation 1 hour prior.
