Marilyn Ellen Goldhawk

Passed away peacefully on October 2, 2017 surrounded by her loving family at the age of 75. Loving wife of Noel for 50 years. Cherished Mother of Aaron and wife Lisa and Matthew and wife Heather. Proud Grandma of Ethan, Bryce, Emma, Brayden, Sutton and Brady. Dear sister of Phil (Ruth) Carley and Bill (Jeannine) Carley. Special Aunt of Adam and Meg. Sister-in-law of Pat (Al) Kralovensky, Paul Goldhawk, and Greg (Diane) Goldhawk. She will also be missed by her cousins, extended family and many friends. Marilyn was a member of Gateway Heirloom Questers, Canadian Club Questers and Beta Sigma Phi Sorority Chapter Delta Epsilon Master. She was a life time member of St. Mary’s Anglican Church and past president of the St. Mary’s ACW B-Branch. Marilyn was a retired teacher from the Windsor Public School Board of Education. She was an outside sales representative for Magic Carpet Travel. Special thank you to the caring staff of Windsor Regional Hospital Ouellette Campus 7 East. Arrangements were entrusted to Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (519-252-5711). As per Marilyn’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 6 - 8 p.m. at St. Mary’s Parish Hall (1983 St. Mary’s Gate, Walkerville). Visiting will continue on Friday, October 6, 2017 at St. Mary’s Church from 10:00 a.m. until the celebration of her life at 11:00 a.m. Interment to follow at St. Mary’s Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Marilyn may be made to the St. Mary’s Memorial Fund, the Windsor Regional Cancer Centre or the charity of your choice.
