Miriam Eleanor Johnston

“And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also”. (John 14:3). Our beautiful Mumma and Nanny is now in the presence of God. Miriam (nee Bjorkman) in her 93rd year, passed away peacefully Feb 29, 2020. Her legacy will live on in her cherished children: Sharon and husband Robert, Wayne and wife Kathleen, Debbie and husband Jeff, Cathy and husband Robin. Cherished nanny of grandchildren Lisa, Jeff, John, Jason, Rob, Sara, Leanne, Pete, Ryan and Alex. Great Grandchildren Lance, Aubryn, Hugh Jr., Avri, Sophia, Jayenna, August, Emily, River, Sullivan and Brennan. Predeceased by husband Clarence Johnston, and parents David & Dagmar Bjorkman, brothers Ariel, Dan and Levi Bjorkman. Remembered by special sister-in-law and friend Leona Bjorkman, brother Roy and wife Peggy Bjorkman. Her kind and generous spirit and her beautiful smile will be missed by the many people who knew her. She was a life-long member of Parkwood Gospel Temple. Our family would like to thank Chartwell Oak Park LaSalle for their care and compassion to our mom and the nurses of Windsor Regional Hospital, Ouellette Campus (8 West) during her final days.
