Norman William Hunter

It is with heavy hearts we announce the sudden passing of Norman (Willie) William Hunter on October 3, 2021 at the age of 66. Loving husband of 45 years to Marianne (Sue) (nee Gevaert). Cherished father of Brandy Liburdi (Dave) and the late Michael Hunter (Lisa). Predeceased by his parents Norman & Mary (nee Fecteau) and siblings Sandy (Allen) and Gary (Kathy). Survived by siblings Bruce (Mary), Lori (Tom) Hamilton. Adored Papa to Leah, Justin, Maddy, Matthew, Daxten & Daniel. Son-in-law to the late Camiel & Yvonne Gevaert (nee Senneave). Brother-in-law to Stan (Theresa), Camiel (Geraldine) Gevaert, Liz (Kerry) Montgomery and the late George (Cindy), Larry (Mary/ Debbie) Gevaert. Fondly remembered by many niece nephews and cousins. Norm worked at Chrysler’s for 32 years, retired as a union steward and very proud member of local 444. Norm enjoyed bowling and golf and will be sadly missed by his cousin and golf partner Randy Fecteau. He also enjoyed travelling with his wife and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Memorial visitation from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday October 8th, at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre - 895 Ouellette Avenue, Windsor. A Celebration of life will take place at a later date.
