A celebration of Orpha’s life will be held on Friday, February 17, 2012 at 11am in the Chapel of the Walter D Kelly Funeral Home, Reverend Ann Corbet of Bedford United Church, officiating.
Orpha fulfilled her dream of husband, family and home. She was active in Sandwich, Chalmers and Bedford United Churches and in the Essex County Pharmacists’ Association Ladies Auxiliary. She served more than 30 years as a volunteer at the Windsor Regional Cancer Clinic. She delivered Meals on Wheels for many years and came back with some good stories. Orpha generously supported many local and national charities, so a donation to the charity of your choice would be the best tribute to her memory. Alzheimer’s diminished her capacities but never her spirit.
