Penelope Koufopantelis (nee Tourikis) passed away peacefully on Sunday February 10, 2013 at 89 years of age. Loving wife of Christos (1981). Beloved mother of Lorraine (John) and Penny (Ted). Cherished Yiayia to Anthony (Theresa), Michael (Heather), and Christos. Beloved sister of Athena (2004) and Efstathia of Zankythos, Greece. Penelope will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Lena for all the support and strength she gave to our family and to the staff of Huron Lodge for all of their loving care. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue, (519)254-3223 on Monday from 5-9 p.m. with Trisagion at 7:30 p.m. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. for the Trisagion, then proceeding to Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church (65 Ellis St. E.) for the funeral service.
