Robert William Hancrar

Born in Ford City and passed away peacefully at the Erie Shores Hospice in Leamington on March 8, 2017 at the age of 89.

Beloved husband of the late Mary (2012) Loving father of Richard and Janice and Rebecca and Chris Rivait. Devoted grandfather ( Beeba) to David, Michael, Jeffrey and Mark Rivait. Dear brother to Shirley Pewtoran and the late George, Irene and John. Bob worked at Hiram Walkers and Sons for 40 years as a steward in the Canadian Club Executive Dining Room and Reception Centre. Bob thoroughly loved his job, the Hiram Walker Company and all the people he worked with. Bob loved his children and grandchildren dearly and enjoyed spending time around his home gardening and landscaping and working on outdoor handmade projects.

Bob was a past Master of Trinity lodge 521 and Palace Lodge 604, Windsor Lodge of Perfection, Rose Croix, Concestory, 32 degree Hamilton, Scottish Rite. A Masonic Service under the auspices of Trinity lodge 52 (formerly Palace Lodge) will take place on Friday, March 10, 2017 at 7:30pm at the Walter D Kelly Life Celebration Centre.

The family will receive friends on Friday, March 10, 2017 from 2-4pm and 7-9pm with service the following day on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11am at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre 1969 Wyandotte St. E.
