Robert "Jim" James Riesberry

Peacefully on July 30, 2018 not long after his 82nd birthday. Beloved husband of Shirley for over 53 years. Loving father of Shannon, Derek (Jen Brouwer), Sue Borras (Reynaldo), and Sarah (Jeremy Molnar). Cherished Papa of Hunter and Bret Riesberry; Eva Borras; Madden, Abigail, and Hadley Molnar; and Jacob Moffatt. Jim is survived by his sister Margaret Taugher and his brother-in-law Roy Gordon (Ann). He is predeceased by his parents Arthur (1984) and Velma (1971); and his brothers Neil (1978) and Bill (2009). Jim was a dedicated teacher and hockey coach for many wonderful years primarily at Massey. In his time off he pursued his passion of both owning and training Standardbred horses or hanging out with his many great friends. He will always be remembered, by those who knew him, for his profound love of family, friends, and horses. Visitation will be held at the Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, 895 Ouellette Avenue, (519)254-3223 on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the Anderson Memorial Chapel on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. Cremation.
