Roy Edward Earl Bristow

Passed away peacefully on November 28, 2013 at the age of 95. Predeceased by his loving wife Lillian Bristow (nee St. Louis) (January 4, 2000), daughter Sharon Lynn Ducharme (nee Bristow), (May 18, 2003), parents William Richard Bristow (August 12, 1962) and Mary Jane Bristow (August 23, 1972), brothers Gerald Reissner and William (Russell) Bristow (March 15, 1967). Cherished father-in-law to Roland Ducharme. Dear grandfather to John White, Jennifer Ross (Scott), Matthew Ducharme (Hannah), Daniel Ducharme (Kate), and Bittany Epp-Ducharme (Christopher). Great Grandfather to Jordan White Grondin, Madison White and Jack White. Roy will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews and friends. A special thank you goes out to Ruth and Aggie for all their loving support and to the staff of Windsor Regional Hospital – Tayfour Campus, 3 North and Metropolitan Campus, 4 North. The family will be receiving friends at the Walter D. Kelly Life Celebration Centre (1969 Wyandotte St. E. 252-5711) on Monday, December 2, 2013 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm. At 7:30 pm on Monday there will be a Windsor Veterans Memorial Service. The funeral service will take place on Tuesday, December 3, 2013 starting at the funeral home at 9:00 am and travelling in procession to Our Lady of Guadalupe for a 10:00 mass. Interment to follow at Heavenly Rest Cemetery. Donations in memory of Roy may be made to the Hospice of Windsor.
